History:                        

ALEXANDER + KIENAST is a Texas corporation founded in 1995 and headquartered in Dallas.  The principals, Robert Alexander and Jack Kienast have shared a professional association since 1975 and served as principals of a previous firm beginning in 1983.  Together, the two principals have over 67 years of combined programming, space planning, architectural and interior design experience.

The firm maintains its practice on the concept that the principals are actively involved in the delivery of the firm's services.  This ensures that the mutual objectives of the Client/Architect relationships are met.  Design excellence, management of the complete design and construction process and client satisfaction are the cornerstones of the ALEXANDER + KIENAST practice.

On all projects, a single principal is designated as the Principal-in-Charge, serving as the Project Manager on an active basis through all phases of the project.  The other principals, within the framework of their knowledge and experience, contribute to the evolution of the work produced by ALEXANDER + KIENAST.

ALEXANDER + KIENAST has devoted both energy and dedication to the development of architectural and interior design oriented projects.  This has been achieved through each division of work being under the direction of a firm principal.

The Architectural work of the firm is overseen by Robert L. Alexander, AIA -- Director of Architecture, while Interior Design work is overseen by Jack W. Kienast, AIA, CSI -- Director of Interior Design.
