Partners

ALEXANDER + KIENAST was founded in 1995 by Robert Alexander and Jack Kienast, who had served as principals together at a previous firm since 1983. Together the two partners represent over 60 years of successful architectural, interior design and project management experience. Each partner serves as Principal-in-Charge on projects, providing primary liaison to the client with regard to the firm's overall performance of its professional services.

Together they are responsible for the creation and evolution of the firm's architectural, interior design and space planning projects from inception to completion.

Background: Each partner has been involved in the design and management of multiple projects with a high degree of technical complexity, including telecommunications/data centers , financial processing centers, retail financial facilities, laboratory facilities, as well as commercial and retail projects, and complex phased interior renovation projects.
MR. ALEXANDER • has extensive experience in conducting reliability and "hardening" studies for data centers. His knowledge and expertise is an invaluable asset with regard to site and building studies, systems analysis, cost control and project scheduling. Received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Texas Tech University in 1969 and has over 35 years experience as a registered architect.	MR. KIENAST • has extensive experience relative to the planning, design and installation of systems furniture for office management and operations environments. His knowledge and expertise is an invaluable asset with regard to new projects and multi-phased renovation projects. Kienast is a registered architect and interior designer, receiving his Bachelor of Interior Architecture degree from Kansas State University in 1972. He has over 32 years experience as a architect, spaceplanner and interior designer.
Alexander and Kienast were partners in the firms of Weeter and Associates and Weeter-Kienast-Alexander from 1983 until founding the firm of ALEXANDER + KIENAST.
